Happy New Year!!!!!!!

I had a great and crazy year in blog world and in my real world. Tonight there will be Champers, Smores, Sparklers and Kissing. Next year there will be big changes for me and my family. I know what you are all thinking, AUSTRALIA!!! Sorry, but it looks like that dream will be put on hold for now. Hubby's future new job is looking more promising and it also looks like I have a promising buyer for my Shop/Home. This means getting all ducks in a row, moving somewhere and maybe an addition to our family.
That is plan A. Plan B is, sell it all and move Down Under.
Life is what happens when you are busy making plans.
I wish you all a safe and Happy New Year. Love Ya, Heidi

Couple of things.....

Here's a smaller Redento Raffinato we did for a custom order. Also a new can technique we tried for the first time came out pretty decent. The cane vase is 23" tall.

Look at the Stars, look how they shine for you.

I hope all of you out there have a great weekend and maybe get a chance to see the stars and breathe in the night air. Every atom in your body was once forged from stars.
Peace Out. Heidi

I must have an old soul.

Having trouble with the word part of this post, gorgeous structures keep taking my breath away. Over the weekend I visited We Heart It and then searched Cottage, and this is what I found. Another fun thing I stumbled upon is Past Life Analysis. Enter your birth date and it tells you about your past life. Guess what? I was an alchemist woman living in the modern Yugoslavia area around the year 1250. Maybe that explains why I love the images so much. Enjoy, Heidi

I do wish I had the original origins of these images to give the artist or owner the proper credit. If anyone knows please let me know. Thanks.

Peace Out, Chrismas is coming.

I could so picture myself by this fire with my latest favorite song playing by, Paolo Nutini - Grant my last request.
Have a wonderful weekend, Heidi

Graduating ornaments by size is very important for a look like this, I even do it on my tree. Big ones on the bottom, medium in the middle and tiny ones on top.

I am so pulling off this look in my garden, even if it's not Christmas.

Time flies when your on the run.

After having a child & opening a business time has changed in a BIG way for me. Every week feels like one full day, every month feels like a whole week, so after 12 weeks it's been a whole year. I make notes for each holiday to help, because I need it. Notes from last year tell me that if I don't get my Christmas decorations up during Thanksgiving weekend, they will never get up. I have half of them up and it is looking like my store will be decorated that way, half right down the middle. When I don't blog for a few days it is because I am busier that one legged gal in a butt kicking contest. That is a good thing because it means $. I have decided to no longer do weddings because the stress is just not worth it. I can pay my bills with my other orders and remember, I married the Mortician. I wanted you all to know that you all help me to re-charge my batteries. I sit down to blog and yearn to be inspired & I am never disappointed. I have found the most wonderful people through blogging from all over the would.
Thank you for being apart of my life. Heidi

Look closely my fellow Aussies, the greenery is seeded eucalyptus.

It looks like Christmas tree skirts are out and garden urns are in.
