I love Skona Hem, it is a Swedish website that translates to, Spare Homes. I thought I would show you one pic at a time every now and then but I decided to just show you them all at once. There is no such thing as too much of a good thing. Happy Fall! Enjoy, Heidi

Practical Magic

I do believe I have found my dream house. This house is just a movie prop, hard to believe. It is a shell and was built on a park land in Washington State, after the movie "Practical Magic" was shot, Warner Bros. tried to sell it and have it moved off but no one bought it. It was torn down and the park was restored to it's previous state. I saw the movie and fell in love, then I saw the house featured in Victoria Magazine and stored away the pictures in my dream file. So the House has resurfaced again this time to be shared on my blog and just in time for Halloween. Enjoy, Heidi

Steampunk.

It all started when somewhere on the web, I found this image of a computer keyboard, but it looked as if it was built 100 years ago. I told my sexy, computer geek husband that "I want that, find it for me." He did find it and I was amazed at all the other technology that had been created to look as if it was from the Victorian Era. This my friends is called "Steam Punk."
