Project almost complete

We were commissioned to blow 30 bowls for a corporate leadership team. Then an additional bowl for a commemorative gift to a high ranking govt. offical. So a total of 31 bowls. Here's a few photos of the bowls we were commissioned to make for a leadership team of a top organization. (A few of the photos of individual bowls were taken in an isolated setting.)

The First photo shows one of the blue tone on tone bowls.

The second photo shows the interaction of a different bowl with light and the background of it's surroundings. I love the reflection of light the bowls give off!!

The third photo is a different tone on tone blue bowl.

The fourth photo is of the bowls in the corporate conference room on the huge granite table.

The fifth photo is a different view on the same table.

The sixth photo is the bowls on the gorgeous lawn outside Bella Forte Glass Studio.

We have 2 more to blow, which we will do Saturday and the project will be completed ahead of the deadline which is the coming Monday. We had less than 2 weeks to get this far from the initial mention by our client. Yeah, that means we did good!

Sorry I can't come to the phone right now, I am drooling over these kitchens.

I have a fondness for beautiful kitchens. Maybe it is because you are creating in this room something to please your other senses and if done correctly you can please all of them. In this one room of your house if decorated to your taste it can be pleasing to your eyes, have music playing or loved ones talking and it is pleasing to your ears, have something cooking and create something fabulous to eat that is pleasing to your taste and smell. All that is left is touch.

Enjoy, Heidi

Sorry I don't have the origin of this image.
I am crazy about the black windows against the cream walls.

Shame on me I don't have the origins of this image, but I just had to share it.

This is a perfect example of how to pull off a kitchen with soaring ceilings.

Bad girl, I don't know where this one came from either.

Again, no idea where the image came from. I am not taking credit for it. If anyone knows please tell me. This is why I have not posted these images, I don't know who created them. Sorry.
This putty/oatmeal is becoming one of my favorite colors.

A Little Something....

This color combination is one of my favorites and to top it off, this bowl fluted out in a really nice and unique way. It stands about 9 inches high and almost 17 inches at its widest part.

I am ready to take the plunge.

Even though summer does not start for a few more weeks, I think it is safe to say that if feels like summer and it is here. All I can think about is plunging myself into a cool abyss of blue water. Enjoy, Heidi

Fire Places..

I have a thing for fireplaces. They seem to draw me near them like a invisible force, even if it is not cold outside and a fake one is turned on in a restaurant. I confess, I am a closet pyro. I love fire, the colors in the flames, the smell of burning wood and the way everyone looks beautiful in the glow of it's light. It is a very romantic element. Enjoy, Heidi

You red my mind.

I created this ad for my business a few years ago and to this day it still inspires me. I found the second image last week and it reminded me of my ad. Then I browsed through my image files and found D' Ette Cole's image, which I am totally crazy about and am a huge fan of. All of the images seem to have a something in common. Enjoy, Heidi

Ebony and Ivory living together in perfect harmony.

When I post, I usually either share the latest find or, like I did in this post, I combine what a lot of my images have in common. I will never get tired of Black and White. What inspires you to post? Enjoy, Heidi

This is the most fabulous house I have seen in black and white.

This one is not black and white, but it is close enough.

I don't have the reference to this image.

I am sure I own the magazine it came out of, it looks so familiar, it might be House Beautiful.
