A Polished Small Home.
Hard to believe this home is 640 square feet. With carefully selected window treatment, moldings and ceiling color choices, Designer Barbara Pervier has mastered the art of drawing the eye up to give a room a much grander feel. I love the clean, polished, calm look she has created in her home. Traditional with pretty collections and elegant antiques. Did I mention that is feels so polished? Enjoy, Heidi

Island Time
I ran away to the beach this past weekend. After all of that working, I needed to LIVE. Work to Live, not Live to work. My new motto I learned from watching all of the Great Australian Oprah Episodes. This is what was the difference between Americans and Aussies. Americans Live to Work and Aussies Work to Live. Bedroom Bliss
I am loving this bedroom, mostly the pale blue and layout. Notice the doorway on the left. I can imagine a dreamy closet, chandelier included. Perhaps a mirror wall on the back side of the white chest of draws. Maybe the master bath is just beyond the closet or "Master Dressing Room". This one is going into the dream house file for sure. Dan Marty
Classic, timeless, comfortable, natural and eclectic, all of which I am a fan. I love how he uses antiques, bamboo, old books, sea shells, red, white, blue and black. Baskets and wicker bottles, domes, palms, lilies, Ivy and ferns. Nests and eggs, turtle shells and orchids. I love the romance and the love of nature. It's not trendy but timeless, as you can see that the last images are maybe 10 years old perhaps and look just as wonderful as the first images. This is the look that best describes my design style.
