in the rough-and-tumble world of hollywood, talent can only go so far in making and maintaining a career. For some stars, that's where plastic surgery comes in, (supposedly) keeping faces looking as fresh and young as they were when they won their first golden globe. But can you really tell the difference, like with dirty dancing star jennifer grey in 1987 versus jennifer grey after a nose job?

grey, now popular again for her stint on dancing with the stars, shaved down her famously distinctive nose in the early 1990s, rendering her unrecognizable to her fans and even close friends. (it's like, you know..., a short-lived tv sitcom starring grey as herself, even used her plastic surgery as a running gag.) she blamed the procedure for a downturn in her career.
